Restaurant Manager (Front of House) - Karma

We are looking for Restaurant Managers at all levels to help lead the guest experience at Karma. Compensation starts at $75,000 and is based on experience. We offer paid time off, insurance, and meal discounts. We’re growing—come be part of our team and help shape what guests love about Karma.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the management team to train and lead front-of-house staff, ensuring consistent service delivery that meets brand standards for quality, budget, and compliance.

• Oversee daily shift operations, including floor service, side-work, sanitation, receiving, invoice processing, and time cards.

• Collaborate with leaders to maximize sales and profitability through promotions, guest satisfaction, and ongoing monitoring of product and labor costs.

• Review financial information and use it to support strong operations and service outcomes.

• Place orders and complete monthly inventory for wine, liquor, and other supplies.

• Maintain clear, consistent communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to support smooth service.

• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and guest experience throughout every shift.

• Ensure Health Department regulations are followed and that the restaurant remains clean, sanitized, and safe for guests and team members.

• Build authentic rapport with guests and create memorable experiences that keep them coming back.

• Lead by example and coach your team to perform at a high level.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a restaurant with similar style, capacity, and volume.

• Hospitality or business management degree preferred.

• ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and TIPS certifications required.

• Strong financial and computer skills, including experience working with P&Ls and monitoring budgets, service, and labor costs.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage employees and interact with guests and partners.

• Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other tools such as online or digital reservation systems.
