Privacy policy

Last updated October 27, 2026

restaurants.work is a job board for restaurant jobs, run by R&r Marketing Solutions, Inc.("R&r," "we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have.

The short version: you don't need an account to look for jobs, we don't collect job applications, and we don't sell your personal information.

Looking for jobs

Applications happen on the employer's site

When you click Apply, we send you to the employer's own hiring site to finish your application. Anything you give them there is collected by the employer (or their hiring software), not by restaurants.work, and their privacy policy applies.

Counting how listings perform

We count how often job listings are seen, opened and clicked through to apply, so we can show employers how their postings did and keep the site working well. To count each person once a day without knowing who they are, we combine your IP address and browser details with the date and scramble them into a code that can't be turned back into your IP address. The code changes every day. We store that code, the job, the kind of action and the page that sent you; we don't store your IP address itself. Visits from known automated tools (search engine crawlers, link previews) are recorded but not counted.

Saved jobs

Jobs you save are kept in your own browser (local storage) on that device. They aren't sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Location

If you use "Use my location" in search, your browser asks your permission first. Your location, rounded to about a city block, is added to the search page's address so we can show jobs nearby. A city or ZIP code you type goes in the address the same way. We don't keep a record of your searches, but page addresses are part of what Google Analytics collects (see below).

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: pages visited, searches, and which jobs are viewed, saved, shared or clicked through to apply. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser, and the pages you visit, and Google processes it under its own policies. You can learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie settings.

Employers and the contact form

If you contact us through the For employers page, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number (if you give one), number of locations and what you're hiring for. We use it to reply and to talk with you about advertising your jobs, and we keep it so we can follow up. The form is processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts the site, and is emailed to our team.

Job listings come from employers and their hiring software, including job feeds that R&r manages for its clients. Some feeds include a hiring contact's name or email. We keep those so R&r can follow up with the employer about their listings. They are never shown on the site.

How long we keep information

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have more rights under state law, including the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email restaurantjobs@rrmarketing.solutions. We'll confirm the request is yours before acting on it.

Children

restaurants.work is meant for job seekers old enough to work. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and limited access to our systems. No website can be perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information (like your Social Security number) through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site.
