Equipment Care Coordinator

The Opportunity: Lead the Kitchen. Protect the Engine.
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Kitchen Shift Leader & Equipment Care Coordinator (Fryer & Oil Care). As a Coordinator, you will lead shifts while owning one critical focus area for our Directors: Monthly Preventative Stewardship.

Our pressure and open fryers are the engine of our kitchen, and our cooking oil is one of our largest investments. You will be the tactical specialist who ensures our fryers are cared for properly every day so our food tastes incredible and our equipment never breaks down mid-rush.You will also oversee the maintenance of our Ice Machine, Ice Cream Machine, and our Ovens. 

What You Will Own (Your Focus Area):

• Daily Filtration & Oil Testing: Measure oil quality daily using testing strips and ensure the kitchen team executes timely filtration cycles, pad changes, and crumb clearing without skipping steps.

• Weekly Boil-Out Execution: Physically lead or verify the weekly fryer boil-out schedule, inspecting heating elements, spindle seals, and O-rings for wear and tear.

• Safety & Maintenance Logging: Ensure all team members use proper PPE (protective gloves, aprons, face shields) when handling hot oil, and immediately report equipment wear to the Facilities Director before it turns into an emergency repair.

Your Daily Shift Leadership Duties:

• Lead Back-of-House shifts during peak production hours, maintaining a safe, clean, and high-performing kitchen line.

• Train new kitchen team members on proper machine operation and daily cleaning checklists.
